A Fan-Out is used to facilitate the conversion from the ribbon to individual fiber format. Used in fiber distribution panels and interconnect modules these ribbon pigtails are suitable for mass fusion splicing. These Fanouts eliminate tedious individual fiber splicing and connectorization. This unique solution reduces installation time and cost budgets.

These NEXCONEC® Indoor/Outdoor Preterms are made of Microcore Flex Armored cable, contains 12 of 250μm optical fibers in a micro tube, accommodated in the helical flex armored tube and surrounded by E-glass, Kevlar, water blocking yarn and UV resistant LSZH outer jacket.
